My professional photographic career started at the tender age of 13 when I won my first commission to photograph an art collection by a local artist. It paid £50 which was reasonable money for an ambition 13 year old in 1978. I have continued to take pictures ever since, and quite simply, I couldn’t be happier! I have professionally qualified with the British Institute of Professional Photography (BIPP) and the Society of Wedding & Portrait Photographers (SWPP), and also the Masters Photographer Association (MPA). I specialise now in providing fine art styled boudoir and maternity photography as well as working with Sarah in creating our photo / video fusion wedding coverage. Outside of the social photography arena, then I offer a wide range of commercial photography and videography services, as well as being a CAA registered drone pilot to be able to add aerial photography and cinematography to my services.

I set up VisualChaos Studios way back in 2000 as the fulfillment of an ambition to work as full time professional photographer and 22 years later, I can categorically say that it was one of the best decisions I have ever made!

I have had various business premises over the years, from industrial units, through a converted house, to a stunning church like office space but my home is now my  boutique studio in the grounds of my home in Crawley Down (about half way between Crawley and East Grinstead in West Sussex).  It might be smaller than my other studios, but it’s perfectly formed and allows me to take care of our clients for all types of photography sessions from commercial and product photography to headshots, boudoir and portraiture photography.
